“His Little Camouflage Suit” original by Lisa Falzon

Lisa Falzon just posted an original oil painting to her Etsy shop that I had to share. Lisa does illustration, digital work, jewelry and traditional works like this one. I really love when she posts new oil paintings, she has an amazing style and you can clearly see how high the quality of this piece is.

The painting is oil on stretched circular canvas, 8″ in diameter and 1″ deep. The sides are painted, and all ready to go. This painting is $115, a steal for something so perfect looking.

“Wolfman Haircut Series” by Casey Weldon

Inspired by an earlier painting of his, Casey Weldon made a whole series of 5 1/2″ x 7″ painting of the Wolfman with various haircuts. Each original painting is $100, and you can also snag an 11″ x 14″ print of the full collection.

Here are a few of my favorites.

“The Teeming” micro edition by Catherine Brooks

Catherine Brooks has just launched an Etsy store, and along with it her first edition of prints. This print is limited to only 10. The print is 10″ x 13″, signed and numbered. The amazing thing about these prints is that each one is hand embellished. She hand painted the gold details into each one of the prints, to help regain the “metallic nature” of her paintings. The other bonus is “each one is a little different and you may find a tiny graphite secret drawn into the the back and maybe a gold finger print.”

What a way to kick off a new store. I love the pose and expression in this painting. The original if anyone is interested it still available over at Thinkspace Gallery Here.

Head on over and snag one of these unique prints before they’re gone. It’s rare for such a cool print to be so affordable.

Photos: “Anathema” at Last Rites Gallery

Last Rites Gallery has just posted some pictures of the reception for their latest show “Anathema”. The two artists from the show, Shawn Barber and Vincent Castiglia were there as well as Paul Booth and Genevive Zacconi the duo behind the gallery.

Looks like it was an amazing night, it’s also great to be able to see the painting next to people as it helps show the size of the works. Head on over and check out the pics from this amazing show, courtesy of Steve Prue.

Pressure Printing launches new website

The very first version of the website for the amazing Pressure Printing was great. But as the list of artists and grown, it was time for a change. So version 2 of Pressureprinting.com is now live.

The new site is just as classy and easy to move around, if not easier. There is now a huge timeline showing all of the prints from the various artists they have worked with. Everything about each print is right there on this timeline. I think this is a great way of showing the legacy of works, as well as making it more enjoyable. Head on over and see for yourself. The blog also shows the various design ideas that came to mind while making this new version.
