Opening up this Tuesday, May 26th at the Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles, is a group show featuring work by Roland Tamayo, Krista Huot, Scott Campbell and Ghost Patrol. If your in the area make sure you stop by, the reception is from 7-10pm.

Now Online: Brian Morris & Mitch O’Connell @ Rotofugi
Sorry for the lack of updates, I was stuck with the post finals plague all weekend so I missed out on posting this killer show. “Secret Handshakes” is a duo show featuring new works by Brian Morris and Mitch O’Connell. The show opened at Rotofugi this past 22nd. There is a huge amount of work on show, most of which are ink on wood or paper, but there are some ceramic busts and color pieces as well.

“For the birds” letter press print by Brian Morris
Rotofugi has a new letter press print in the shop, “For the Birds” by Brian Morris. The print is made the amazing folks at Letterpressed. It’s 9″ x 6″, dark brown ink on cream paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 50 for $25.
“The Secret Nest” print by Jeremiah Ketner
Jeremiah Ketner has added a new print to the Small and Round store. This print is a giclee on cotton rag paper, 13″ x 19″ with 1″ border all around. It is signed and numbered in an edition of 50 for $60.

The “interactive gallery” 88point5 has some new works by Casey Weldon. The solo show will be up until June 13th. I really do the like the idea of seeing artwork in person, even if I don’t get to see in up close someone else can, but its a great show anyway so head on over and take a look.
Chet Zar interview @ SUBvert Magazine
Chet Zar has a new interview up over at SUBvert Magazine. Chet just opened his duo show with his father at L’Imagerie Gallery, and this interview has some shots of the show. It’s a great interview, and if you look around the site you will also see an interview with Jeff Soto.
Travis Lampe’s Tear Drips figures and letter press print
Travis Lampe’s Tear Drip vinyl collectibles have finally hit the stores. This is series 1 of the toys, there are 12 different designs and are 11.95 each for a blind box. Along with these new vinyl toys, Letter Pressed has a new Artists Series print from Travis. The print is based on one of the Tear Drips in the series. The print is 5″ x 7″, 2 color letter pressed, signed and numbered in an edition of 50 for $30.

The folks over at Graffhead.com have added some pics of the “Canceptual v3″ show that went down at the Crewest Gallery this past month. There is some pretty amazing work in the show. I especially like the cans that Jessica Ward made, you can some better shots of the artwork on her site here. The show also featured some work by Apricot Mantle as well as Dave MacDowell, with his can/painting.

I’m not the biggest fan of Marion’s work, but the paintings in the show look fantastic , I’m sure in person they are even more amazing. “Inventress” print by Mia @ A Paper TIger
A Paper Tiger is releasing a new print by Mia. The print is from a painting she had in Hi-Fructose’s “Overdose” exhibition at the Copro Gallery just a bit back. The print will be a larger format print at 16.5” x 24”. The print is signed and numbered in an edition of 25 for $150.
