Brian Ewing just added a print to set to his online shop. The set was originally sold at the Comic Con and sold out the first day. He had a few sets left over, so those that missed it or couldn’t attend can now get them. The set includes 5 screen-printed 6″ x 9″ prints, limited to 40 sets. The “Milo” the nerd skull comes in a different colorway than was available from the Con. This set only costs $25.

Amy Sol is releasing a new print today, Sept 19th at 2pm PST. “Andromeda” is 12″ x 15″ with a 1″ border on archival hahnemühle paper, 90% renewable bamboo/10% cotton. It is signed and numbered in an edition of 100 for $100.

Nimit Malavia has just added a new print to his online shop. “Moments Before Crisis” was hand silk screened by Jon Todd, they are 20″ x 26″, signed and numbered in an edition of 25 for $100.
Even though it is a single color print, the beautiful linework as well as the layout of the figure makes this image very dynamic.

Phone Booth Gallery will open a new solo show from Bryan Schnelle, the even will take place in Los Angeles.
Cerasoli Gallery will have the receptions for three shows that opened last week. Michelle Carlson, Hellovon and Derek Albeck.
Gallery Nucleus will host “Terrible Yellow Eyes”, a group show with work inspired by Maurice Sendak’s “Where the Wild Things Are”.
Copro Gallery has just released a new print from Laurie Lipton. The print is from a drawing she had in her show “Day of the Dead” that took place at Copro last October. You have the choice to buy the print unframed or framed. I like the idea that the print is pretty much the same size as the original, this way you get to see all the amazing detail that Laurie is able to get. This print is 17″ x 22″, signed and numbered in an edition of 30 for $100, $300 framed and matted archival with plexi.

John Cebollero is no stranger to this site, I was able to interview him last April as well as show his work in both the “Attack of the B Movie Show” and “This is the End” exhibitions. In the past week I learned that John will not only have an interview in the October issue of Juxtapoz, but will also have his art featured on the cover of the subscriber version. The artwork used is none other than “Exit Eleven”, the outstanding painting he submitted to the “This is the End” show. I’m very happy for John, I hope this exposure shows how talented he is and brings him even more fans. It looks like its going to be a great issue, and having John’s artwork on the cover makes it a must buy.

Poster Child Prints has just released a new limited edition print by Joshua Petker. If I remember right the last available print release from Joshua was from his last solo show at the Corey Helford Gallery almost a year ago, so I was happy to see that he once again has a print ready for all of his fans.
The print is a generous 18″ x 24″ on Arches 88 – 100% Cotton Paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 80. Each print is also embossed with the PCP logo, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This print is exclusive to Poster Child Prints and can be had for $90.

So in order to make it easy to score some original art, Grant Gilliland has started doing $20 drawings. These are original pen and ink works from Grant featuring one of his wacky characters that he is known for. I went ahead and ordered one and not only did it ship fast, but it looks amazing. He really knows how to rock those sharpies. “Creepster 2.0″ is the drawing that he sent me (shown), so if your looking for some great original artwork head on over and make sure you sign up for one.
William Basso graduated with a BFA in Illustration from the Parsons School of Design in New York. He worked in the special effects field for a while, and has contributed to such films as Edward Scissorhands, Terminator 2, Jurassic Park, Interview with the Vampire and more. He has recently been focusing on his own art projects, one show that he was able to have some of his personal work was in Travis Louie’s “Monster” show that took place at Copro Nason Gallery just a bit back.
He definitely has a unique style. Most of his work seems to be college, printed images and then they are arranged in a layered way. Acrylic paint is then added to the topmost layer. The images online don’t quite show how dynamic these paintings look. There was one image I found on Flickr that did give a better idea of how these works look Here

Pressure Printing has just released a new print, and much like all of their releases this one is exciting. The “Zembo Boy” is an intaglio on Rives Heavyweight printmaking paper with Charbonnel inks. The print size is 4.875″ x 3.375″ with a 10.125″ x 7.25″ hand cast and antiqued frame mounted under curved glass. The print is # Hand stained in ink and gouache, signed and numbered in an edition of 100 and comes with a “custom-designed, perforated, signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity”.
This one should not last long, so make sure you get over there.
Zembo Boy Print @ Pressure Printing
3D Retro has an exclusive vinyl figure by Coop. “Lil Mort” is based on a few of the paintings that were in his latest solo show at the Corey Helford Gallery. This figure is glow in the dark, 7″ tall and has a removable scythe. It’s limited to 150, but according to Vinylpulse 50 of those are saved for “Corey Helford Gallery’s members”.

Nik Scarlett has added a bunch of original paintings to his Etsy shop. Four of these paintings look to be a series. “Bleck”, “Eck”, “Blargh” and “Argh” are all acrylic on cradled canvas board and range from 4″ x 4″ to 6″ x 6″. They look great, I love how the sides are painted with either the blue or green color. It really helps them to stand out even more than they do.
