aotd: “Gatecrasher” by John Cebollero

Today’s art of the day is from John Cebollero. He has done work for DC, Marvel,Cartoon Network & Topps. His work at Topps was for the “Hollywood Zombies” cards, and John’s work was by far my favorite of the set.
His work is wonderfully nostalgic, and to me represents the best of what you can find when looking at art by Bill Ward, old Mad Magazines and Garbage Pail Kids. His pencil works are amazing and his acrylic works are amazing, and his acrylic paintings such as the one he has showing in the B Movie show, has David Macdowell and I trying to sell some blood so we can have split custody with it.
