aotd: “Gloom”

Today’s piece is from Alice Duke, an artists out of the UK.
She has a great gallery, but this piece really stood out to me. I think it’s that the overall colors and feel kind of remind me of some of the work that James Jean has put out. What’s so cool about that, is that Alice pulled this off all digitally. It has an amazing amount of texture and really makes it look as though this is acrylic washes on rives paper or something similar.
