aotd: “Inner Worlds”

Today’s piece is from illustrator, Ben Jelter. He does concept and character design, and has a very crazy imagination.
It was hard to pick a piece from his gallery, but I liked how this one kind of fools you. At first look, it’s like a normal everyday scene, then you look closer and see what’s really going on. Like it’s no big thing, that girl is feeding worms(?) to some crazy figure with a mouth/butt. Excellent, I love work that gets my imagination going. You really need to head over and see the rest of Ben’s work. He has some amazing illustrations.
