I’ve always loved looking at sketchbooks. It gives you a great insight into how the artist works, and thinks. There are also so many different ways one may treat their sketchbook. Real messy little doodles, or even little paintings, like the one shown here. The artists name, is unknown to me as of yet, but she goes by the screen name “god of insects”.

For a sketchbook entry, this is great. I love the color scheme, and very energetic brush strokes. This has all the qualities of being a quick loose sketch, while also being a finished piece. Looking through her gallery, I can really see that she has some great tool at hand. I’ll definitely be posting some more of her work. If you would like to see more, head on over.
