aotd: “Vanity”

Been a while since I had an art of the day entry, and this is a great one to get the ball rolling again. This piece is from an artist out of Pennsylvania, John Kolbek.
He’s an amazing painter, and this specific piece by the art of Michael Hussar and the music of Parsons. You can really see the Hussar influence in this one, especially in the eyes. That crazy slippery look that Hussar has is even here.
The rest of his gallery is filled with amazing work, different than piece, but I’m sure you’ll love all of it.
