Todays art of the day is from a Canadian artist I have had bookmarked for quite some time, finally got around to showing some of his killer work.

He creates art is all sorts of mediums, but the work that I like best is his pencil drawings. I love how this piece has a good amount of rendered area, but there are some elegant loose gestural lines as well. A painted piece was later made from this one, but I am still quite a fan of this original drawing.
