I’m not the biggest fan of social sites like facebook, myspace and twitter. I do use them but mainly to keep up with news and updates in the art world. It’s also a great way to learn about artists you haven’t seen before, such as illustrator Ronald Kurniawan. A graduate of Art Center in Pasadena, Ronald has done work for such clients as Sony, Mattell, Disney exhibited work with La Luz De Jesus, Thinkspace and more. I seen a few sites compare his work with that of Jeff Soto’s earlier paintings, and while some of the pieces do have a similar feel, Ronald illustration work is what stands out the most to me.
The illustrations that he creates for clients is not only colorful and exciting, but also a blast to look at.
