This Saturday, November 13th at the Thumbprint Gallery in San Diego, Scott Saw will unveil a new series of paintings he has been working on. This new experimental series of works entail Scott creating layers and layers of texture with spray paint, some screen-printing, and finishing up with some oil paint. A video he posted on Vimeo shows the process far better than I can explain (here). Along with some of the animal inspired work Scott is known for, some figurative works have been added to this new direction. I think it’s a great idea and I am excited to see where this new path leads Scott’s artwork.
