On March 12th, Stella Im Hultberg’s latest solo show “Fragmented” (previewed), opened alongside Scott Belcastro’s new series of works “I Dare the Sky” at the London Miles Gallery. Stella’s new work looks amazing. It;s a good mix of her tea-stained paper drawings, acrylic and colored pencil works, and one painting that she used oils with even though she has moved over to water based media. The new style of hair she is drawing really looks fantastic. Even though Stella has less work in this show than Scott Belcastro does, I found myself spending more time looking at her work, it just feels like a stronger series.
