aotd: “Pretty Strange, Strange Pretty”

Today’s piece is from French artist Lisa Falzon, otherwise known as Meluseena. She works both digitally, as well a traditionally. I think her style transfers over quite well.
I really dig the look of the piece, the face being so stylized. It really is a unique looking face. I love portrait work, and when the artist can make the face look like something we have never seen before, it’s even better.
