This past Monday, May 10th, legendary artist Frank Frazetta passed away at age 82. Widely known as the godfather of fantasy illustration, Frank’s influence can be seen in the work of countless artists such as Ashley Wood, Simon Bisley, Glenn Barr, Dan Harding and many more. Often categorized as an illustrator, Frazetta was an artist worthy of any museums recognition and appreciation.

his work was the first to blow my mind. I got a paint by number on black velvet of the Death Dealer when I was around 7 years old. I was forever changed
