Tim Biskup is having a solo show opening this Saturday at Billy Shire Fine Arts in Culver City, CA.
So if your lucky enough to be in the area, head on over to see the show. Or you could head over to the Billy Shire Fine Arts webpage and take a look at the work that will be shown.
Looks like it’s going to be a great show. I’m really getting into Tim Biskup’s work lately, I love how he uses color and how he arranges his the content of his work. I know he uses cell vinyl acrylic, I’m not sure how different that is than regular acrylic paint.
My favorites of this show would be: “Impaler”, “Dominator”, “Burning”, “Stem” and I really love “Left Hand” (above). The colors used the face are excellent. Has a great glow to it.

I was looking around for cool Lovecraft based art, and stumbled upon this little statue. Its around 5″ tall and looks pretty cool. It’s only $10!
If you look on the artists website he has made some pretty impressive Cthulhu statues, I wouldnt mind having one of the larger ones.

I just found two original paintings by an artist that goes by “Bob Zombie”. If you look at the pieces there is an obvious Michael Hussar influence, but also a little bit of Chet Zar. Both of these pieces are great, they’re both oil on canvas panel and both are 8″x8″.
I’m really surprised no one is snagging these works. Hopefully I’ll have some more info on this artist soon. Until then, heres the link to his auctions.

Luke Chueh original painting “The Possessed” has finally been turned into a vinyl toy by Munkyking. There are two version a white version (1000 made) and a black version (250 made).
There is also a silkscreen print available, for those who maybe don’t collect vinyl figures. It’s 9×13″ on chipboard and only 250 of them will be made. The print is available now, it looks like you’ll have to wait till the 31st release party for the figures.

Today’s piece is by an artist by the name of JANG KEUN-CHUL.
I really like his style, nice and textural and dark. This piece and few others he has made really remind of the painting of Zdzisław Beksiński, if you haven’t seen Beksinki’s work you should really make it a point. You’ll be able to see similarities, but Jang Jeun-Chul does have his own style.
Take a look at his Profile, he also has prints for sale there: Jang Keun-Chul

Sarah Joncas (the first interview I had here) has a few available works at the Thinkspace Gallery.
As of yet none of them have been bought. Two smaller study paintings and one large 24×24 dyptich painting. The 12.6 “Bottom Feeder Study” (above) looks amazing, but of course I would be happy owning any of them.
She also has a show coming up this weekend that I will post. So, alot of her work will be available soon, so no point in waiting to buy.

I love photography, but i’m a sucker for photos that have a nostalgic look to them. Any photo correctly done that makes me feel like being somewhere else, or in another time period. Or maybe it just fondly reminds me of places I have been to.
This is really a great shot from photographer Maja Homen , among many the photographer already has. Great color and the depth of field is perfect.
Head on over to her homepage to see more of her work.

There is a pretty good amount of Joe Ledbetter prints on eBay if your looking. There is also an original up there right now.
It acrylic on wood I believe, 16 x20. I guess this is one in which Joe calls his “Frankenstein” piece, a culmination of all his characters into one. Looks pretty cool (right side up at least), I would like to see a better picture of it though.
