“Migawari” print by Audrey Kawasaki

Coming this Saturday, September 4th, is a new limited edition print by Audrey Kawasaki. This one is not time limited, so your going to have to fight for it if your looking to pick this one up. “Migawari”, which means To give or sacrifice oneself, was first shown at Audrey’s solo show at the Jonathan Levine Gallery this past January. The print is 19″ x 15″ on a 20″ x 16″ sheet of paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 200, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. You can also order the print framed for bit more. The print goes on sale Saturday the 4th at 1pm Pacific time.

“Conjoined Triplets” doll by Shain Erin

Shain Erin has done it again with a new custom made doll. This new one is conjoined triplets, named (left to right): Tanek, Tymon and Tercio and is 10.75″ high. This is part of a new series of works entitled “Exquisite Monsters”, which are inspired by antique wax medical models and specimens representing genetic anomalies, disfigurements and diseases. Of course many of them will be more from imagination such as this one. While there is no real life examples of a disfigurement such as this, there have been paintings that feature the Tricephalous face and even few Romanesque gargoyles. It’s a fascinating subject, one that I have been studying for a while.

New prints by Tara McPherson

Tara McPherson has added some new prints to her online, and along with the giclee prints are some small lithograph prints and postcards. The two new giclee prints are “Lost Constellations”, 18.5″ x 24″ on German Etch watercolor paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 100. “Weight of Water 3″, 20″ x 27″ on German etch watercolor paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 100 as well. There are twelve new postcards and each one can be had for $4, and there are 4 new small lithograph prints. Each of the lith prints are $10, and one of them is the long sold out “The Idealization of Asymmetrical Thought” print that was made for the Decoder Ring Project.

Tom Bagshaw Print Giveaway

“Predator” print by Godmachine

Godmachine has added a new print to his online shop. The poster looks like it was made for a viewing of Predator at the Astor Theatre this past July 5th. The print is a 4 color screenprint on black stock, 18″ x 24″, signed and numbered an edition of 40 for $35 each.

New works by Parskid @ Flatcolor Gallery

Flatcolor Gallery has a bunch of original works by Parskid now available on the site. It looks as though many of the works are from some of his latest shows. There is over 30 original works available, one of which entitled “Separation Anxiety” is a collaboration with EGO. It looks amazing, the two styles work very well with each other.

New work by J.R. Golberg

J.R. Goldberg has been busy making some new original paintings for a show opening this weekend in Ottawa, Ontario. The show is called “Seduction of the Idiots” and as stated on the site is “what can happen when comic and cartoon addiction is not dealt with early enough”. J.R. made four original paintings for the show, each one is acrylic on 6″x6″ wood panels. The collection is entitled “The Bloodies” and includes “Mashy” the Mallet, “Jabby” the Bottle, “Choppy” the Cleaver, and “Poppy” the Gun.” It looks as though these might also make it into screen-print form if there is enough demand. So head over to JR’s site and tell her you want a set of these as prints.

“Bolt Cougher” print by Jhonen Vasquez

Gallery Nucleus has just released a new print by Jhonen Vasquez. The print is a 19″ x 13″ giclee on watercolor paper, and the first 100 prints will be signed by the artist. The prints are only $40 each and are open edition, so there is no rush to get one, unless of course you want one signed. Love the colors in this one, and I am sure it would look quite dashing in a snazzy black frame.

Amy Crehore has just released a new print, this time it’s a letterpress print. “Shygals’ Serenade” is a 3 color letterpress print on Holyoke Premium Cotton paper, 10″ x 13″, signed and numbered in an edition of 170. Each print also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
