A Paper Tiger has been a little quiet for the past few weeks, but they’re now back with a new print. “Saying” Goodnight” is by the always amazing Eric Fortune and is 18.25″ x 24″ on cotton paper, signed and numbered in an edition of only 10. The post says they worked alongside Eric to make sure this print came out as close to the original as possible. I’m sure it looks amazing.

“The Exiles” print by Brian Despain

A Paper Tiger has just released a new limited edition print, this new one is from Brian Despain. The print is 12″ x 14.5″ signed and numbered in an edition of only 25.
The site gave a little description of what the piece is all about: “The Exiles represents honor and dignity in the face of adversity. An unlikely royal couple stands proud but alone under a tumultuous sky, their crowns, a symbol of their former state, lift from their brows to hover like ghostly halos while dead leaves dance about them on winds of change.”

It’s a great print, from an amazing artist. That little gnome is too cool.

“Great Showdowns (of the 8-Bit Era)” vol. 2 by Scott C

A Paper Tiger has released a new print from the recent “I Am 8 Bit” show, this new one is from Scott Campbell and is another set of Great Showdowns.

“Great Showdowns (of the 8-Bit Era)” vol. 2 features 5 mini 3″ x 5″ prints, each set limited to 30. I can see a showdown from Punch-Out, Dig Dug and ….what else do you see? These prints are really great, I love the style Scott Campbell has, he addresses my nostalgia with just the right eye candy.

The last set sold out very quickly, so don’t wait. Scott C @ A Paper Tiger

“I am 8 Bit” exclusive prints now at A Paper Tiger

A Paper Tiger will be the exclusive spot to get prints from the 4th year of the “I Am 8 Bit” show. The show had the biggest turn out yet, and there was amazing work there.

The first two prints that will be released by A Paper Tiger are from Scott Campbell and Scott Belcastro. The piece by Scott Belcastro was hands down my favorite of the night, it helps that I am a huge Legend of Zelda fan. Scott Campbell is doing his “Showdown” works again, and the first print will be the first series of them including showdowns of Frogger, Tetris, Mario & Donkey Kong and so on. The Scott Campbell prints are a set of 5, 5″ x 3″ mini prints limited to 30. The Scott Belcastro print is 12″ x 12″ and is limited to 50. Head on over and grab one of them, before it’s too late and keep your open for upcoming prints. I am 8 Bit @ A Paper Tiger

New print, “Chasing Butterflies” by Joshua Petker

A Paper Tiger has just released a new print from this self-taught L.A. based artist. I have seen his work in person a few times in San Francisco, and each time the show sold out. The print is “Chasing Butterflies” and is based off a painting he had in the “Behind Bedroom Doors” show alongside Sylvia Ji at the Thinkspace Gallery last year.

The print is 12″ x 18″ on Somerset Velvet paper and is limited to only 25 prints. There is also 5 “artists edition” prints, where each print is hand embellished with ink, paint & glitter. Each one of these prints is 18″ x 24″. So if you have missed out on buying one of his original works, head on over and grab one of his prints before they sell out.
