“Flying Fish” print by Amy Sol

The “Flying Fish” print has been sold out on Amy’s site for a bit now, but there are still some left over at Excellent Virtu. This is quite an amazing print, and if I remember right it sold out very fast. If you look on eBay there is actually a “Flying Fish” print right now for $375.

Head on over to the Excellent Virtu site and see that they have it for the same price that Amy was selling it for, $250. The other benefit is knowing that they take care of their prints, and ship them so that they could withstand an attack.

Keep A Breast Auction

The Keep A Breast Auction is going on right now, well it has been for a bit but I am a little late this time, sorry. Anyway,Plaster Breast Casts were made and decorated by some of the best artists out there and are now being auctioned off to help fight Breast Cancer. The great thing is “100% of proceeds will help fund the Keep A Breast, youth education and awareness programs.” So this way you get some unique and amazing art, as well as help people out.

There have already been some work by Iggy Pop, Amy Sol, Ahren Hertel and other sold. At this moment there are some casts painted by Annie Owens, Attaboy, KRK Ryden, Mike Giant, Lola, Johnny Rodriguez (shown) and many others. Check out their main site for the full rundown, and which artists have participated: KAP Homepage, and check out the auction Here

“Flying Fish”, new print from Amy Sol

Amy Sol has released a new print that is now available directly from her website. I wrote about the print this past week for SFWeekly, but the print is too good to not write about again.

The print image is 18″ x 15″, signed, numbered and embossed on the always beautiful Hahnemühle archival paper in an edition of 50. I really love the muted colors that she uses, and that this print features a figure in profile. If you look at the rest of her prints, you will see that full profile faces are present in just a few of them.

This print won’t last long, so head on over and check it out. Amy Sol Store
