Original drawings by Brian Ewing

Brian Ewing has just a couple of original drawings to his online shop. He rarely makes original drawings like these available, so if it’s something you have been waiting for rush over there now. “Skull Study” is graphite on Rives BFk 8.5″ x 11″, and “Innsmouth Study” is graphite on Rives BFk 8.5″ x 11″ as well. There are some process shots for the Innsmouth piece, showing the steps that he took to get the final drawing. I really love how that one came out, a few of the tentacles are even echoing the way some of the hair flows. I can imagine this one becoming a tattoo, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw one very soon.

Death Cab for Cutie gig poster by Brian Ewing

Just learned that the Death Cab for Cutie poster is now in stock at Brian Ewings store. He opened the box, and said they looked amazing. There is also a walkthrough of the process that it took to make the print. I’m not the biggest fan of the band, but the print does look killer. The colors are very striking. The print is 18″ x 24″, 7 color screen print for $40.
