Coming this Friday, July 8th at the Gallery 1988 is a new Crazy 4 Cult show. Themed shows can be great, but can also get a bit repetitive as well, however Dave MacDowell has just released his painting for the show and if the rest of the show is this good then we are all in for a treat. The painting is entitled “Th Last Friday” and in the same fashion we know from Dave it’s filled with all sorts of pop culture mashing goodness.
One of the works that was in the latest “Crazy 4 Cult” show is about to be released by Gallery 1988. As you can see the print is inspired specifically by the very cool “Data” character in the Goonies movie. The print is 15″ x 20″, signed and numbered in an edition of 100. If you have seen the prints that Gallery 1988 creates, you know they are top notch.

The second edition of the Crazy 4 Cult group show opens this Friday at the Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles. The shows features a whole host of artwork inspired by the cult movies we all love, brought to you by some of the most inspiring artists around.
