This Saturday at the Project Gallery in LA, Yoskay Yamamoto has his solo show open “”the upside of down”. This is supposed to be his largest body of work yet, so this should be a great show to check out. The work is up for viewing on the site as well and it looks like the show is almost sold out.

“Carnivora” a show inspired by the “Dark Art of Automobiles” opens at the L’Imagerie Gallery on Saturday as well. The show features work by: Cam DeLeon, Brian Horton, Ken Keirns, Travis Louie, Eric Joyner, Craig LaRotonda, Chris Peters, Keith Weesner, Robert Williams & more. Check it out here: L’Imagerie Gallery

Also opening this Saturday in Manila is “Heavy Hitterz”. Live music, live painting, and art by: Blinky, Daniel Fleres, Jenn Porreca, Josh Taylor, Rueben Rude, Ryan “Deli” De La Hoz, Sam Ramos and more. Sam Ramos, and Deli were in the B movie show, I would love to see the work they have in this one. Check it out here: Heavy Hitterz Manila

“Young Guns” opens this Saturday as well at the iO Gallery in Connecticut. The show features work by some killer “emerging artists” such as: Dave Palumbo, Anthony Palumbo, Casey Weldon, Scott Altmann & Michael Shapcott. What a great show, would love to see this one. The reception is from 5-7pm. Check it out here: The iO Gallery

There is also a good amount of “First Friday” art walks. Jason Rudolphpena has work for sale at a First Friday in AZ, and Danny Roberts does in Las Vegas. Check around and see if there is an art walk in your town/city.
