Back in September Gallery Nucleus opened a solo show from Scott C, that completely slipped our radar. The show was entitled Zombie in Love, and fits perfectly with the Halloween season. The show featuring a series of paintings that made up Scott’s latest book Zombie in Love. The reception had Scott give a book reading, a drawing demo, and fans even showed up dressed like zombies. Looks like it was quite a fun evening. The show and reception photos are online to view, and you can still grab the book from the Nucleus online store (here). Hardcover, 32 pages, and you can order it signed or unsigned.
“Embodiments” by Jeremy Enecio @ Gallery Nucleus
On August 6th at Gallery Nucleus, a new solo show by New York based illustrator Jeremy Enecio opened. The show, entitled “Embodiments”, features 7 new works made with either acrylics or oils. Jeremy has an amazing style, and if your fab of such artists as Phil Hale, Sam Weber, Ashley Wood, and James Jean, then Jeremy’s work is along the same lines of quality, feel, and execution. Take a look at the preview images and then over to the gallery for the rest of the show, also make sure to check out Jeremy’s portfolio page and browse his extensive link section.

“Manfungus 1.3″ print by Christian Rex van Minnen
Gallery Nucleus has added some new prints to their online shop, one of which is “Manfungus 1.3″ by Christian Rex van Minnen. I was first taken in with van Minnen’s work due to the similarity to 16th century painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo, although I find the formers work more interesting. The print is a giclee on velvet fine art paper, 18″ x 24″, signed and numbered in an edition of 25.

Digital artist David Ho (Interviewed), has added some new images to his website. His latest series of works is entitled “Element 5″ and focuses on the 5 elements: Earth, Fire, Metal, Water and Wood each one personified. David will also have some work in the upcoming group show “Curiouser and Curiouser: Inspired by ‘Alice In Wonderland” @ Gallery Nucleus this coming February 27th.
