art of the day »
Todays art of the day is from Jim Bradshaw, an Illustrator out of New Jersey. His work is colorful and filled with all sorts of eye candy. I always get a kick out of any new work he posts.
This painting is actually on an old zip disk. I think it’s great when artist reclaim surfaces to paint on, wood, cardboard and so on, but I never though of one on a zip disk. I really love the colors of this one, and the incorporation of the zip disk “center part?” into the robot. It looks all rust and worn in, killer painting.

“I Vote for Art” is a new website were you can purchase original works of art as well as prints. The best part of the site is that you can vote for your favorite pieces. So if your like me and like to “window shop” for art online, you can not play an interactive role while your doing so.
The site was started by Ben Rowe out of Australia, he has quite a passion for art, as well as a good eye for art. He is a long time reader of the Creep Machine, and has always been there even when I’m sure I have only had two or three readers.
Anyway, the site is now live so head on over, vote for some art, buy some. Or if your an artist, submit your work to Ben and maybe have your stuff for sale as well. There is already a great amount of work for sale on the site from such artists as: Kendrick Mar, Jason Limon, Mel Kadel, Jim Bradshaw, Tanya Pshenychny and the list will just keep growing.
Check it out, and good luck Ben! “I Vote for Art”
