If you haven’t checked out the featured artists area of the site, I suggest you go there. Not only will you see the work of Ojimbo but Justin Degarmo as well, both of them are amazing artists.

The piece shown here is an original that is available from Justin. The piece is entitled “Lunch Is On Brendan”, as in Brendan Danielsson fellow Art Dorks member and superb artist as well. The painting is acrylic on wood, 12″ x 12″. The colors on this one are outstanding, as well as the whole layout an content. It really freaks me right out, and thats possibly why I love this painting so much, aside form the skill that Justin has of course. This painting is still available and needs to be hanging on someones wall, if not yours than maybe mine, if anyone feels like being generous…. :)

Since the Lori Earley print contest was going on for all of August, we took a break from the featured artists area. Now we are back in full swing and I would like to welcome the September featured artists, Justin Degarmo & Ojimbo (Jim Sheely). I’m very happy to be showing their work, i’ve been a fan of both of theirs for quite some time.

I would also like to thank July’s featured artists, Sarah Bereza and Edith Lebeau. I have their work in the archive area of the “Featured Artists” area, so while you head over to check out this months art you can also look at some of the past features.
