Coming from the latest “Southern” group show that opened just a bit back, Last Rites Gallery has released two new prints. “Dirtyland IV” by Brian Viveros and “Southern” by Brian Viveros and Matthew Bone. Both prints are about 18″ x 24″, signed and numbered in editions of only 12 for $200. These prints are also Last Rites Exclusives, these can be had no where else.

Here is the rundown of the shows that will be taking place this weekend.

Friday:
Eclectix Gallery will open “All Gurlz” show featuring more than thirty female artists

Halogen Gallery previously Suite 100, has a show featuring new work by Kendra Binney, Rudy Fig and Jeremiah Ketner

Thinkspace Gallery will open “…Away From The Things Of Man” by Kathleen Lolley, “A Brief History” by Allison Sommers and in the project room “Inner Myth Pt. 1″ by João Ruas

Roq la rue will open “Lush Life”, a group show featuring work by Joe Sorren, Chris Berens, Chris Conn Askew, Mia Araujo,, Melissa Forman, Travis Louie, Madeline Von Foerster, Martin Wittfooth, Kukula, Ryan Heshka, John Brophy, Tin, Brian Despain, Glenn Barr, Dan Quintana, Femke Hiemstra, Laurie Hogin, Lisa Petrucci
& Andrew Arconti.

Hyaena Gallery has a one night event, Albrecht Durer and his ” “The Monstrous Sow
of Landser (1496)” engraving for sale. There will also be work by Chris “The Creep” Densmore, Clint Carney, Dan Harding, Alex Pardee, Erick De La Vega, .W. Frydendall, Delphia, Chuck Hodi and many more. The show is only night and is online, so check it out now.

Saturday:
Congregation Gallery is opening “Voodoo, Hoodoo, and Santeria: The Art of Conjure Black Carpet Arrivals” with new work from D. W. The Parlour Gallery at Halloween Town will open the Edgar Allan Poe group art show, with some work from Dan Harding, Eric Pigors, Gris Grimly, Zombienose and more.

Last Rites Gallery will open “Southern” a duo show with new work from Brian Viveros and Matthew Bone.

Lebasse Projects will open “Hello and Goodbye” by Yoskay Yamamoto and “Wild Fields” by Melissa Haslam

Shooting Gallery SF will open “Into The Woodz” a new solo show from Isabel Samaras. Then at the Gallery Three “Fantastic in the Sack” New Works By Dustin Olson

Copro Gallery will have “Strange Grooming Habits” by Travis Louie and “Sentimental” by Kathie Olivas

Here is the rundown of the shows opening up this weekend. Looks like its another one of those weeks that are filled with a huge amount of shows.

Friday:
Kathie Olivas and Brandt Peters have a duo show entitled “Nocturnal” opening at Cardboard Spaceship.

“Mostly Memory” featuring work by Armsrock and Elbow-Toe opens at Thinkspace. Also in the project room, Jon Todd’s show “Life Sentence” opens. Both shows are online to view.

“Globoid Fun” a solo show of KRK Ryden opens at the Rabbit Hole Gallery. Haven’t seen this site before so I’m not sure if the pieces will be online.

“Maritime and Mythology” by Evan B Harris and the “Gifted” group show both open at the Cersoli-Lebasse Gallery. “Gifted” features work by Tessar Lo, Eric Fortune, Scott Belcastro, Melissa Haslam, Ken Garduno, Nimit Malavia, Tom Haubrick, Jeremiah Ketner and more. So much of the work in this is striking, that Eric Fortune “A Wish for the Mourning” is beautiful.

“Little Wonders”, a group show featuring works by Deli, Reuben Rude, Grant Gilliland and more will open at Fabric8 in San Francisco. None of the works will be over $100.

The “Good Samaritan’s” group show kicks off at 8pm at Copro Nason Gallery. The show features work by Brian Viveros, Naoto Hattori, Femke Hiemstra, Bethany Marchman, Mari Inukai, Tin, Chet Zar, Brandi Milne, Chris Peters, Kukula, Vinnie Cacciotti, Jasimine Worth and the Dr. Charles Manson..?

“Isn’t it Romantic” opens at the Mahan Gallery in Ohio. It features work by Jenny Hart, Arabella Proffer and more. Check it out here: Mahan Gallery

On Saturday at the Copro Nason gallery two shows open, Noferin’s ” The Start; or Where We Begin.” and Jeff Gillette with “Blight”. Check out the show here: Copro Nason

Finally we have the very first show the Last Rites Gallery in New York. The gallery was started by Paul Booth and Genevive Zacconi. There are going to be some killer shows from this gallery in the coming year, such as this first show.
