Birdbath Publishing has just released a new print by Michael Hussar, one that many have been waiting on for quite some time. I first saw the original “Lamb of God” at the SF Fetish Ball Art Show and was amazed at the colors, and textures seen in the work. The print is now available for those like me that have been waiting for one. 12″ x 24″, signed and numbered, and titled in an edition of 88 on museum-quality 100% cotton rag using the finest archival inks available. Each print also comes with a certificate of authenticity. I know these prints will not last long, so make sure you head over before it is too late.

This past February 12th, the “The Red Light Exhibit” curated by Genevive Zacconi and present by The Dirty Show along with Last Rites Gallery opened. The show had works by Paul Booth, Scott G Brooks, Shawn Barber, Vincent Castiglio, Colin Christian, Brian Viveros, Dan Quintana, Camilla d’Errico, David Stoupakis, Michael Hussar and many more. Genevive was nice enough to send over some photos of the reception night, some shots of the works and the festivities that also took place. Some of the photos are NSFW, just wanted to state that so no one got mad at me.

Birdbath Publishing has just released a new print by Michael Hussar. “Four on the Floor” is 15″ x 11″ on museum quality archival rag paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 88. The print also comes with a certificate of authenticity. The original, shown at the “Sweet Jesus” show at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in 2004 was 12″ x 9″, so the print is a tad bigger.

Michael Hussar has placed a painting of his for sale, and older one from 1991. The painting is a bit different than the most recent work we see, but it still has that amazing vibe that all of his work has. The painting is framed, oil on 100% rag board and is 8″ x 10″. There is only a day left on this auction, so head on over and take a look.
