Julian Callos is an illustrator out of Los Angeles. He just graduated from Otis, and now has a print available from A Paper Tiger. Being noticed so quickly out of college, it’s not going to long before we see his work in galleries all over the place. The print is 8″ x 8″, signed and numbered in an edition of 10. Here is what the artists says about the print:
“This piece reflects the age-old conflict between man and nature. The Forest King represents the spirit of the forest. He has been felled by human weaponry, signifying the conquest and inevitable destruction of nature by man.”

“Lost in the Thicket” print by Nate Frizzell
Just a short bit after the Brian Despain print, A Paper Tiger has just added a new print by Nate Frizzell to the lineup. “Lost in the Thicket” is 12″ x 15″, signed and numbered in an edition of 25. Here’s a little blurb about the image from the site: “Lost in the Thicket is part of a recent series of paintings I just sent off to Bath, UK. The gnarled trees twisting and surrounding the fragile bunny are meant to represent a sense of being overwhelmed and vulnerable.”
Great looking print, head on over and check it out. Nate Frizzell @ A Paper Tiger
“Birth of Unreckoning” print by Edwin Ushiro
A Paper Tiger has just released a new print, this one by Edwin Ushiro. The print is entitled “Birth of Unreckoning” and is 12″ x 12″ on textured paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 25. The image has some really cool textural effects to it, I would have loved to see the original one in person.
“Life’s Objective” print by Eric Fortune
Eric Fortune is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design, and has quickly become one of my favorite artists. His work will be seen this year in galleries such as Roq La Rue, Gallery 1988, Copro Nason, POVevolving , Ad Hoc and the Cerasoli-LeBasse Gallery. One look at his art easily shows why so many people are excited about his paintings.
A Paper Tiger has just released Eric’s first print. Entitled “Life’s Objective”, this print is 12″ x 16″, signed and numbered in an edition of only 25. The prints from Paper Tiger look amazing in person, and with Eric’s beautiful style this print is sure to go fast.
“Touch of Class” art print by Nathan Ota
A Paper Tiger has released a new print by Nathan Ota. This print comes from a painting Nathan had in his “Way Way South” show at the La Luz De Jesus Gallery last October. The painting sold, but the print is ready to go. It’s 12″ x 15″ signed and numbered in an edition of 25.
