Erik Jones prints and originals at Uberbot

If you head on over to Uberbot, the collected works of Erik Jones is there for not only your viewing pleasure, but also available for purchase. This show looks to be the last one at Uberbot for a while, as he is getting ready to move to New York.

There is a great amount of work, all in a variety of mediums. There are some acrylic works, and some mixed media pieces were he uses water color, colored pencil, acrylic and oils. I think he has a great style, and love the fact that you get a slightly different feel with his work depending on which medium he is using.

“Boy of Hell” by Erik Jones

The “Let Them Eat Pancakes : The Hellboy Art Show!” has been up at the Uberbot site for the past week now. I wrote about a print that Stuntkid has in the show in my last weeks article for SFWeekly. Well I thought I would feature one of the original works of the show, and my favorite one has to be “Boy of Hell” by Erik Jones. He has an amazing style of painting and never ceases to amaze me, weather it’s paintings of beautiful women or portraits like this one that just seem to punch you right in the face.

This painting is made from house paint and markers, and from the looks of the site, it’s already framed up for you. head on over to the site to check out the show, and Erik’s painting.
