  • Jermain Rogers ‘VEIL: 129 MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES’ SET

Jermain Rogers new toy set, ‘VEIL: 129 MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES’ will go on sale October 5th.
The set is based in his highly popular ‘Veil: Specimen 129’ figure, but now there is three new figures.

    1. ‘Judgment of the Dero’ 129: In the winter of 1895, something was very wrong with Specimen 129. DERO discipline is NASTY. If one looks at the surface of the wounds, they notice… clear red vinyl!
    2. ‘Stealth’ 129: Clear red vinyl!
    3. ‘GLOW ‘129: Glows intensely in the dark!.

This figures are great, I love the look they have. If you feel like picking a set up, head over to the link below.

  • GhostlyArts originals for sale

I have shown the work of these artists before, the art is now called GhostlyArts. Some of the first originals are now being sold on Ebay, for very affordable prices. It’s pretty nutty than none of the work has been bid on yet.

Head on over and take a look, this is a good chance to get some original paintings, just in time for Halloween.

  • “Rated PG” closing reception at the Conference Room

The last meeting at the Conference Room had works shown by Ken Garduno and Ryan Pratt.
The show ends this coming October 9th, and they will have a closing reception on that day. Both artists are great, and if you can’t make it to the reception, at least check out the show on the website.

The next meeting coming up will be called “Animal…Vegetable..?” and will show the works of Gale Hart, she was just voted Best Visual Artist by Sacramento News and Review 10/07. The show opens on October 20th and runs until November 10th.

  • aotd: “Red Robe”

    Red_Robe_by_mopeydecker.jpg
Today’s piece is from Paul Lee, otherwise known as mopeydecker. This piece is acrylic on paper. I know the artists uses oil as well, so was this an underpainting?

Not sure really, but I really like this one the way it is. I love the sketchy kind of lines that seem to be rampant through the painting. The figure still has depth to it, and the hair looks like the color is bleeding into the paper. A great effect. Make sure you check out the rest of the artists work.

  • “Daddy’s Girl”, Michael Hussar Artists proof print

    Daddysgirl.jpg
A print of Michael Hussar’s amazing painting “Daddy’s Girl” is being sold right now. Alternative model Apnea was the face that inspired the one you see in this print.

This is such a killer piece, and there are no more left of these. This print comes with a special sleeve that will help protect it. Its signed and numbered. This is actually an artists proof, that had an edition size of only 12. So that makes this print even more rare. How could anyone not want this print? I have fought for this print so many times, and this time it hit me when I just can’t fit the bill.
