I’ve been watching this artist for a while now. Jrulier, makes amazing digital images. Photomanipulation as well as some digital sculpting.
Be sure to check out his main gallery, there is some great images there. No sign of any prints though.

Camille Rose Garcia Museum Show
If your in the San Jose, or need an excuse to go, there is a great show at the San Jose Museum of Art. Camille Rose Garcia is having a show there.The Opened yesterday (I’m late) and will run until September 23. So you have some time. I plan on heading out to this one. Her work is so energetic, I would love to see what she does with acrylic, and not on a computer monitor.
The image above is a print that will be available at the museum. It’s a 30×40 giclee print and is entitled “Black Dawn Rising”. You can also order them online.

The artist Natalie Shau has a new website over at Carbonmade. The site looks great, and it has a very good selection of work to look at.Head on over, you can also find her on deviantart and on myspace. She has also shown at the Strychnin gallery, a great gallery that has shown many fine artists.

Going along with the opening of Sarah Bereza’s show, I also decided to have one of her works the Art of the Day. Its her self portrait, and is my favorite work she has done.I love the colors she used in the face, her brushwork is excellent. Most of all the emotion is what gets me, the face shows a lot of emotion and just inst another portrait that shows a person smiling.

You can find the directions at the site below.I saw her work at The Lab in San Francisco, you have to see her work in person to appreciate how much she puts into each piece. I really dig her style, her frames are one of a kind.

I was looking at the pieces in the “Smitten” show, and this sent me a mission to find some work of a similar vein. I found a piece by Naomi Nowak that I really like.
