1xRun has a new limited edition print up for the week. “Happiness is 100yen” is from Australian art duo Dabs Myla. This print comes from a series of works that were shown at Thinkspace Gallery at the “Tokyo Deluxe” show in 2010. The print is 11″ x 13.5″, signed and numbered in an edition of 40, or whatever sells before the time is up.

James Jean has just added a new open edition print to his online shop. “The Black Parade” was first created for an MCR album cover, which explains the format of the print. This uniquely sized print is 10″ x 40.6″ on 17″ x 41″ Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper, signed and embossed. Thanks to Omgposters.com for the heads up. Chet Zar has added a new print to his online shop. “Pipe Dream” comes from a painting Chet first showed at the Thinkspace 5 Year Anniversary Show (http://www.creepmachine.com/events/thinkspace-gallery-5-year-anniversary-show.html) this past year. The print is 17″ x 22″ on velvet fine art paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 100 for $135. I’m really glad this made it into a limited edition.
Tomer Hanuka will be dropping a new print this Thursday, January 27th. The print is entitled “Perfect Storm” and is a Valentine’s Day Edition. The print is 13″ x 19″, signed and numbered in an edition of 45 for $85 each.

Justin Kamerer, aka Angryblue, has just released two new prints. “You Are Safe” is an 18″ x 24″ print with 5 impressions, and a new technique that creates a “faux embossed” look to the work. The print is signed and numbered in an edition of 90 for $30 each. The next print is “Faun”, an 11″ x 14″ letterpress print on soft cream paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 100 for $30 each. Once again Justin brings us some amazing looking prints. Can’t wait to see what he does next with these new techniques he is working on.

Usually Mondays are pretty slow when it comes to new prints, art shows, and so on. This Monday however bring a new limited edition print by James Jean. “Liber Novus” was painted for Jean’s show at the Japanese American National Museum, and is now available in a 17″ x 22″ print on Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper & Palladium Leaf. The print is signed and numbered in an edition of 50 for $200 each.

I recently posted some new work created by Mr Christopher, now being shown at Last Rites Gallery in New York. As I stated in that earlier post I am very happy to see that Mr. Christopher is still working on hard on new art, and has even added some of these new works to his new homepage and Etsy shop. His homepage is now filled with a gallery, a blog to keep up with new work and news, and an updated list of exhibitions he has participated in. If you check out his Etsy shop you can find some mini prints, custom painted spray cans like the “12 Ounce Misfits” (shown), and a hand painted, and modified cloth baby doll now called “Drunk Fucking Hipster Doll” (shown last). All of the work and prints are priced very reasonable, so head on over and take a look.
Jonathan Bergeron has added some new original drawings to his online shop. Some of the stuff I have posted earlier in the month is still available, and with the cheap prices i’m pretty shocked. I am always amazed by Johnny’s linework in his ink drawings, the hatching is outstanding. Just take a look at “The Reader” (third shown), and you can see how perfect he can get these ink drawings. “Weird Stinky Orc” (shown first) has to be one of the coolest titles for a drawing I have ever heard.
