“The Exiles” print by Brian Despain
A Paper Tiger has just released a new limited edition print, this new one is from Brian Despain. The print is 12″ x 14.5″ signed and numbered in an edition of only 25.
The site gave a little description of what the piece is all about: “The Exiles represents honor and dignity in the face of adversity. An unlikely royal couple stands proud but alone under a tumultuous sky, their crowns, a symbol of their former state, lift from their brows to hover like ghostly halos while dead leaves dance about them on winds of change.”It’s a great print, from an amazing artist. That little gnome is too cool.

Chris Roberts prints @ Rue Morgue
Rue Morgue Magazine has some new prints in their online shop, these new ones are from Chris Roberts. Having worked in the film and television industry, you can clearly see that Chris is a big fan of classic horror. You can see in the two works, “HAREM SCAREM” inspired by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres painting “La Grande Odalisque” and the third painting “DEATH OF GILLMAN” inspired by Jacques-Louis David’s “Death of Marat” painting, that he is also knowledgeable about art history.
The originals look to be still available on the site, each one being acrylic on illustration board. There are also signed prints of each painting up for grabs too.

“Audacity” print by Dave Kinsey
Looks like Dave Kinsey has a new print coming from BLK/MRKT Editions. This 4 color screenprint is on 100% cotton rag, signed and numbered in an edition of 100. They will be available today, March 26th so keep checking the site for them to pop up. As you can see on the site, Dave’s print pretty much all sell out and I imagine this one will be no different. New works and process by Molly Brill
I featured some new originals by Molly back in February, but I just learned that she created a new blog so the originals can be found there now. On this new blog, she posted some new smaller works (shown) that she has been working on, and even added some process shots so we can see how these get made. I really love the dreamy quality that she gets with watercolor, and the colors are so rich. “Delusion” is on the left and “Phantom” the right. Each one of these smaller works is 4″ x 6″(5″ x 7″ with border).
She also posted a teaser of a new one that she is working on, and it looks to be a full figure. I can’t wait to see the finished version.
Head on over to Molly’s new blog, see what she has in store and which originals are still available.
