  • “The Cost of Modern Living” print by Andy Kehoe

    Andy Kehoe has just released a new print onto his Etsy shop. The print is 12″ x 16″, signed and numbered in an edition of 40. It’s also on my favorite paper, Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm paper. I remember seeing this painting a bit back and loving that blue against the ochre like colors that he used throughout the piece. It’s very striking, quite possibly my favorite work from him so far.

  • “Robbie the Rabbit” original by Jason McKittrick

    Jason is an artist out of New Jersey. He has recently been doing a series of paintings based on the ghosts “Marlboro State Psychiatric Hospital”. He also did a couple of works that featured characters from the Silent Hill video game, the one featured here being one of them.

    The painting is entitled “Robbie the Rabbit”, I never played the game so the character is new to me. It’s Acrylic, watercolor and colored pencil on 11″ x 17″ paper. The painting is framed as well with a black wooden frame. Jason has this piece for sale up on his eBay page right now. If your into the game, or just sketchy looking rabbits, head on over.

    EDIT: well it looks like the piece was sold already. Hopefully the Creep helped with that. Jason listed the other “Silent Hill” piece as well, so if you want to try to snag that one head on over.

  • “Hare”, James Jean Show Poster

    James Jean has a solo show coming up at the Jonathan Levine Gallery this coming January. The show is going to be amazing and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us all. The Levine Gallery always has the images from the show up super fast, and the site is a joy to browse around in.

    It looks like James has put up a downloadable version of the show poster up on his site. You can print it out pretty big, I got mine to around 10″ x 12″ and it looks fantastic, I have some Rives BFK to print this onto as well. Grab some nice paper and go to town, he said you can “Feel free to download, distribute, print out, and share with friends, family, and uninitiates.” Thank to Hi-Fructose to this news.

  • New limited editon print by Adam Flores

    San Francisco based artist Adam Flores has a new limited edition giclee print available through Curbs and Stoops. The idea of the site “is working towards increasing the accessibility of art across a diverse range of socioeconomic and cultural communities.” Along with Adam’s print you can also find prints by Adrienne Benitez, Contessa Trujillo, Jeffrey Pena, Pete Doolittle and Steph Chard. You might remember Steph as the featured artist back in April.

    The print by Adam is 16″ x 22″, signed and numbered in an edition of 50. The work is entitled “”Get the Fuck off my Grass.” What a killer name. I really dig Adam’s work, the new worlds that he is able to create, the colors and for having a style that is very unique. Head on over and check it out.

  • Original works by Chloe Cumming

    Chloe is an artist out of Bridport, UK. She has recently put some works up for sale on Etsy, and I had to share them here. She has a very dynamic style, one that is mixed very well with caricature. Her works kind of look like Kent Williams intermingled with a dash of Sebastian Kruger or John Kricfalusi.

  • “Anumodana”, new print by Naoto Hattori

    Naoto Hattori has just updated his online print shop with a new limited edition giclee print. The print is 16″ x 20″ in a signed and numbered edition of 100.

    I always love seeing new works from this artist, there is just so much to look at and his work always surprises me. I love the look on the dogs face in that close-up.

  • “Starlight” print by Dan May

    The Definition Gallery has a new exclusive print available by Dan May. The print comes in two sizes, 11″ x 14″ at $75 and 16″ x 20″ at $100. They are signed and numbered and also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, each size is an edition of 75.

    I really love Dan May’s style, the colors he uses, the visible drybrushing in each work. I am also amazed at how perfect the hair looks like in this one, it’s hard to believe it was painted.

  • Original paintings by Molly Brill

    A bit back I featured the work of Molly Brill. She makes these amazing paintings using watercolors, acrylics, watercolor pencils and charcoal. Each piece is filled with texture and color, always giving your eye something interesting to look at.

    She recently moved and is now living in Ontario, Canada. She started a livejournal and Flickr account, to help people keep track of new works, shows and hopefully some prints. She also have about seven original works for sale, each one of them is $200 (plus s&h). Here is just a few from the list for sale, they are amazing. I would love to see them in an ornate frame.
