  • EGo and Creeps show @ Flatcolor Gallery

A little late on this one, but there is still some time to catch these shows at Flatcolor Gallery in Seattle. EGO’s latest solo show “Eventually, You run out of tomorrows…”, and the Creeps group show featuring work by Larkin, Augie Pagan, Parksid, Chris Sheridan, Brian White, and Derek Noble. This is the perfect show to check out this October, and should be seen simply because the art is that amazing. Last year EGO had a solo show at the gallery and created some beautiful pieces, this show is a great followup.

  • Chris Sheridan, Jesse Edwards & Jeffrey Taylor @ Flatcolor Gallery

If you happen to be in Seattle tonight is the opening reception of a new group show at the Flatcolor Gallery. Work from Chris Sheridan, Jesse Edwards & Jeffrey Taylor will be on view. The show runs from January 7th until the 30th. The paintings from each of the artists is now online to view. I really like what Chris Sheridan has created. The paintings have that beautiful loose brushy feel to them, and the colors are outstanding. He even has some painted skate decks. I am usually not into those but the imagery and painting style om these decks is worth a look.

  • “Astatine” end of the year show @ Halogen Gallery

Halogen Gallery (formerly known as Suite 100) will be closing it’s doors for foreseeable future. “Astatine”, named after the “last of the halogens on the periodic table”, will be the final group show the gallery puts on. There are works available from Aaron Kraten, Amy Earles, Chris Sheridan, EGO, Jeremiah Ketner, Lesley Reppeteaux, Max Kauffman, Parskid, Weirdo and many more. The work all seems to be very affordable as well, for instance the beautifully framed drawings by EGO (shown) are around $100.
