  • “Sugar Skull Letterpress” by David Lozeau

David Lozeau has just released a new letterpress print, that was made along with Cody Langford. The print features imagery from David’s “Sugar Skull Song” painting, and was made the old fashioned way. The print is 11″ x 17″, is a Hand-Pulled 6-Color Letterpress Print, “plus subtle variations in pigment and texture ensure that no two are exactly alike.” The print is signed by both artists and is limited to an edition of 200 for $35 each.

  • “The Collector” print by David Lozeau

David Lozeau has added a new print to his site, and a little blurb about it as well:
” Once again, we find our friend the octopus scouring ocean floor for oddities to add to his collection. After spending a considerable amount of time shopping an ancient moai resting place, he finally selects a large, battered stone statue to drag back to his eclectic underwater tiki hut.
The background was painted with various shades of blue and green acrylics to create a murky, monochromatic feel, while the octopus and moai were painted with 1 shot enamel to make them pop off the clayboard. Lots of highlights and lowlights were used to detail and outline the characters, but black was only used on the eyeball.”

    The print comes in two sizes, 8″ x 10″ for $20 or 16″ x 20″ for $60.
