Nate Van Dyke and Jeremy Forson @ Double Punch
Opening this Saturday, February 6th at Double Punch in San Francisco is a dual show with works from Nate Van Dyke and Jeremy Forson. This is going to be an amazing show, the new paintings that Jeremy has been making are very exciting. I am hoping the make it to the reception so expect some photos of the show this coming week. October’s Halloween feature seemed to extend into the month of November, but now we are back on track again. New prints from Jeremy Forson
Jeremy Forson has added some new prints to his Etsy shop. A few of these new prints are from Jeremy’s “Lost Fight” solo show that opened in September @ Edo Gallery in San Francisco (previewed here). I’m glad he decided to make some prints from some of the new work that he has been creating, especially “Kissy Face” (shown first), it’s such an amazing painting. The latest prints are all 8.5″ x 11″, signed and numbered in editions of 10 for $15 a pop.

Jeremy Forson @ Edo
Just this past Friday, Sept 4th at Edo in San Francisco, Jeremy Forson opened his solo show “The Lost Fight”. These new paintings are a bit of a change from Jeremy’s previous works. The colors are a bit more intense in some areas, and it appears that he is spending more time during the initial stages of each painting. The subjects all center around San Francisco. I really dig how he incorporated the figures and buildings in some of the works, sharing the same space but not being plunked down in front of each other as if they were just photos. I have been a fan of Jeremy’s work for some time now, and I really like these new paintings. The show is up until 11/4, I plan on seeing them in person soon.
