  • New work by Michael Ryan

Michael Ryan has been pretty busy in the past few months creating new work. He recently had a show at Modern Eden, and has also updated his webpage with new work. Head on over to his homepage to check out the new painting, three of which are seen below. I was very happy to see that he was still painting away, been a fan of his for a few years now.

  • Michael Ryan & Bradly Platz – “The Order” @ Modern Eden

Opening this Saturday, July 16th at the Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco is a new duo show from Michael Ryan (featured) and Bradly Platz. The show is entitled “The Order” and is not the first time these two artists have shown together. Eclectix Gallery in El Cerrito was responsible for previously showing the work of these two talented artists. I was lucky enough to have Michael Ryan show a painting in the “This is the End” exhibition that took place at the Alternative Cafe, and I am happy to see some new work from him. He is an outstanding painter, and the work really deserves to be seen in person. The reception is from 7-10pm and the show runs until August 13th, so make sure you stop by if you can. For all the Creep fans that can’t make the show, we will have a video walk through of it along with photos and a review this coming week.

  • Featured artists for October, Dan Harding and Michael Ryan

The two featured artists for the month of October are now up. I am a huge fan of both of these artists and I am happy to be able to share them with all the readers of the site. Both artists will be submitting work to some future shows that I have planned, and I will no doubt be featuring their work on the site again. Michael Ryan actually has some new art in the works, and once that is finished and ready to share, you will see it here.

I also want to thank last months featured artists, Justin Degarmo and Ojimbo. Their art is now in the featured artists archive so if you missed it head on over and check them out.
