  • “New Mittens” letter press by Drew Millward

Letter Pressed has decided to release some prints that are more affordable and are perfect for the way the economy is right now. I would hate to see Letter Pressed disappear, so I am glad they are taking measures over there to keep the art flowing. The difference with these new prints are that even though they are limited, they will not be signed by the artist. This new print by Drew Millward is 5″ x 7″, one-color letter press printed on Lettra 100% cotton printmaking paper in an edition of 30.
Thanks to OMGPosters for the tip.

  • Eric Fortune wins Jack Gaughan Award

Congrats to Eric Fortune. He won the Jack Gaughan Award for Best Emerging Artist of 2008! Thats an amazing honor for such a killer artist. I really look forward to seeing what Eric will come up with in the next year. His style is very infectious and I find myself checking his blog out as much as I can to see any new work he may have. Luckily for his fans he is doing a sketch a day so we can get our daily fix that way.

Make sure you check out his homepage for more amazing works, like the one below.
