  • “Without Pity” print by Glenn Barr

1xRun.com, a new site that does time limited print editions, currently have a new print by Glenn Barr. “Without Pity” is 13 3/8″ x 16 3/8″ on archival cotton paper, signed and numbered in an edition no larger than 35. The way the site works is if only 10 prints are sold in the time the print is available, thats the edition size. I’ve always been a huge fan of Glenn’s work, and have been waiting for one of his Robot Monster inspired works to make it into print form. There is only 5 days left, or 15 prints to go.

  • Megan Frauenhoffer

Megan Frauenhoffer has a Master’s in printmaking from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She has since been showing her work in galleries such as Hive Gallery in Los Angeles, 323 East in Michigan, and Art Basel in Miami. It’s not often I get to share artists that work in traditional printmaking methods, so I was very happy to be introduced to her work, she has an amazing style. Take a look at her Flickr and homepage for the rest of her, and to keep up to date with new work and future shows.

  • The Art of Stab @ Hyaena Gallery

Running from November 1st to the 15th is a group exhibition of art inspired by the Scream movies, specifically Scream 4 which will be out soon. The reception is this Saturday, November 6th from 8pm to midnight. I am not a fan of the Scream movies, but there is some great artists in this show, and the best part is that the work in this exhibition will be featured in a scene in the movie. Artwork from D.W. Frydendall, Char Hall, Dan Harding, Clint Carney, Skip Crank, Nicolas Caesar, Rick “Dienzo” Blanco, Jeremy Cross, and many more is now on view.
