Coming from a commission piece inspired by Neil Gaiman’s Delirium and Death characters, Zoetica Ebb has released a print version of the commission that is now available on the site. Christopher Hand agreed for the piece to be released as a print, so the rest of us get to enjoy this image as well. The print is 7.5″ x 10″ on velvet photo rag paper and can be had for $25.

This past Saturday, December 5th the Last Rites Gallery in New York opened two new shows: “From the Ashes of Angels” by Craig LaRotonda and “Skins from the Shadow Circle” by Paul Gerrard. I really like the new work from Paul Gerrard, he has a killer style and shows that digital art can be just as fascinating as traditional. The show will be up until December 27th, if you can make it to the gallery make sure you check out the site for the full preview.
It looks like Jeremy Geddes has added two new giclee prints to his online shop. “White Cosmonaut” and “Red Cosmonaut” are both 21″ x 23″ on Hahnemuhle Matt Fine Art Photo Rag, are signed and numbered in editions of 200 and can be bought separately or together for a cheaper price. Ana Bagayan has just added a new print to her online shop. “The Mire” is a print that based on a drawing, and to add to the feel of being a hand drawn piece each print is hand embellished with tiny mosquitoes, each one different. The print is 15″ x 19″ on 16.5″ x 20.75″ on cream colored Rives BFK drawing paper, signed and numbered in an edition of only 10 for $100 a pop. That Rives paper is not doubt going to help this print look amazing in person, while keeping the quality of the drawing looking like the original as much as possible.

Last Thursday, December 3rd at the Flatcolor Gallery the “TWOTHOUSANDTEN” group show opened up. The show features work by Dave MacDowell, Luke Kopycinski, Parskid, Chris Crites, Chris Sheridan, Chip7, Troy Gua, Sohaila Adela, Joe Vollan, Jeffrey Taylor, Mike Wagner and many more. The work is now online to check out. I really like the new pieces from Dave MacDowell, Chris Crites and Luke Kopycinski.
I featured the art of Vacon Sartirani a bit back (here) , and it looks like he has a new print available. “Heart Attack” is roughly 20″ x 30″, signed and numbered in an edition of 100. Just like the rest of his work this image really creeps me out, it’s that growth exploding off of good ol’ mickey’s face that does it.

Aeron Alfrey is the artist behind the Monster Brains site, a great read if your into that kind of stuff. He is also a talented artist and has just released a print of “Mist” an illustration he made that was used in “Knowing Darkness, Artists Inspired By Stephen King” published by Centipede Press. The image was used as the front and back end pages of the book as well as being featured in a double page spread within. The print is a whopping 36″ x 24″ with no border, so you can just can drop it in a frame. It is signed and numbered in an edition of 100 for $250.

Jonathan Viner has just added a couple of new prints to his online shop. “Noble Pursuit†and “Fight or Flightâ€, both are giclee on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, 13″ x 19″ signed a numbered in editions of 50 for $90 a piece. Most of Jonathan prints are around the $200 range, save for the Harem series prints he released a bit back. All of Jonathan’s prints are covered with three coats of varnish “increasing its durability as well as the intensity and depth of colors.” Thanks to omgposters.com for the heads up on these prints.
