  • Shows this weekend: Josh Keyes, Bob Dob & The Blab! Show

    Here is the rundown of art shows that will be opening up this weekend.

    Friday:
    Swarm Gallery will host an exhibition of new works by Josh Keyes.

    Perihilion Arts will open “Black Eyed Mouseketeers”, a new series of paintings by Bob Dob. The show is online and looks great.

    Cave Gallery will open “Outside my Window”, a group show featuring art by Liz Brizzi, Adam Flores, Max Kauffman and more.

    La Luz de Jesus is opening its four shows, as mentioned in an earlier post, with new art from Scott Holloway, Jessica Dalva, Misato Otake & Jasmine Worth.

    Varnish Art will be having its last show at the current location, and will end it all with a new solo show entitled “ThankYouGoodbye” with works from Michael Page.

    Strychnin Gallery will host “The Red Thread”, which features work by Jennybird Alcantra, Bethany Marchman and Edith Lebeau, who was a featured artist on the Creep Machine. Congrats Edith!

    Saturday:
    Copro Gallery will open “The Blab! Show” featuring new paintings by Joe Sorren, Andy Kehoe, Alex Gross, Jeff Soto, Femke Hiemstra, Shag, Kris Kuksi, Ryan Heshka, Martin Wittfooth, XNO, Travis Lampe, Owen Smith, Kathleen Lolley, Natalia Fabia, Andrew Brandou, Gary Taxali and more

    Disctinction Art will open “Scientific Evolution”, with new artwork from Dan Lyderson, Sean Christopher, Jasmine Worth, Gene Guynn, Christian Van Minnen, Dave MacDowell and more. 10% of proceeds to benefit stem cell research.

  • New prints by Andy Kehoe

    Andy Kehoe has just added 5 new prints to his Etsy shop. All of the prints are on printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm paper, and limited to editions of 50. The print shown, “Desolation Afflicts the Greedy-Hearted” is 12″ x 15″ w/ 1/2″ white border for $65. I love the blue against the ochre and sienna colors he used.   • “March of the Exiled” print by Andy Kehoe

    Andy Kehoe has added a new print to his etsy shop. “March of the Exiled” is 18″ x 12″ with a 1/2′ border, signed and numbered in an edition of 40 for $60. Juxapoz also found a couple of cool interview videos with Andy, you can check those out Here

  • New Andy Kehoe print @ Tinyshowcase

    Andy Kehoe will have a new print available from Tiny Showcase tonight @ 7:30pm EDT. It will be an edition of 100. The other prints that he has had on Tiny Showcase sold out very quick. So if your looking for one of these, be quick.

    EDIT: Here is an image of the print the site released. 5″ x 5″ for $20, and sold out already. Hope you got one.

  • “The Cost of Modern Living” print by Andy Kehoe

    Andy Kehoe has just released a new print onto his Etsy shop. The print is 12″ x 16″, signed and numbered in an edition of 40. It’s also on my favorite paper, Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm paper. I remember seeing this painting a bit back and loving that blue against the ochre like colors that he used throughout the piece. It’s very striking, quite possibly my favorite work from him so far.

  • “After the Flood, Trust Waivers”, new print by Andy Kehoe

    Andy Kehoe has released a new print, one that many of his fans have been asking for. The print is entitled “After the Flood, Trust Waivers”, and is 16″ x 12″ on the very desirable Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper. This print is limited to an edition of 25, signed and numbered.

    I really love the minimalistic background on this one. It causes your eye to shoot right for the main creature in the piece. Then you eye starts freakin out on the detail of all the tiny branches that comprise that massive head. Killer work. Head on over and pick one of these prints up, before they are all gone.
