In the past few weeks the Alamo Drafthouse, who release some of the coolest movie inspired posters around, announced that they are doing a series of poster prints based on cult classic “The Warriors”. I have always been a big fan of that movie, but not a lot of art has been created from it. The first releases for this series are from Tyler Stout and Eric Tan. There are 3 posters available from Stout, a cut set at 16″ x 24″ each, metallic inks, signed and numbered in an edition of 450 for $35. Then there is the uncut version with a bonus sidebar with more illustrations, 24″ x 36″, signed and numbered in an edition of 200 for $80, there is also a variant gold/silver uncut posters that is unfortunately sold out. The poster from Eric Tan is a 24″ x 36″ screenprint, signed and numbered in an edition of 300 for $30.
These prints are bound to go fast, so make sure you head on over and pick one up: Mondotees.com

Does anybody know if these are studio sactioned or homage pieces?
Not sure, that would be a good question to ask. I have yet to buy a poster from them. I am waiting for the right one.
The Warriors series according to the Mondo site is made in conjunction with Paramount Pictures.
