On Thursday December 17th, screenwriter Dan O’Bannon passed away after a 30 year battle with Crohn’s disease. Dan is known for writing such movies as Alien, Aliens, Dark Star, Lifeforce, Invaders from Mars and my favorite Return of the Living Dead, which he not only wrote but directed. I have watched his movies a hundred times over, and if your like me they were influential in your love of horror as well as zombies. Oh and what young guy can forget the cemetery scene with Trash played by Linnea Quigley? So here is a few works of art inspired by some of the movies Dan gave us.
