J.R. Goldberg has been busy making some new original paintings for a show opening this weekend in Ottawa, Ontario. The show is called “Seduction of the Idiots†and as stated on the site is “what can happen when comic and cartoon addiction is not dealt with early enough”. J.R. made four original paintings for the show, each one is acrylic on 6″x6″ wood panels. The collection is entitled “The Bloodies” and includes “Mashy†the Mallet, “Jabby†the Bottle, “Choppy†the Cleaver, and “Poppy†the Gun.” It looks as though these might also make it into screen-print form if there is enough demand.
