“From Inside” animated film art prints

“From Inside” is an animated film by John Bergin. It’s based on the graphic novel John made of a pregnant girl named Cee, “who finds herself on a damaged train slowly transcribing it’s way across a bleak, apocalyptic landscape”. If you check out the preview on the site you can see that’s its pretty dark, and looks to be a mix of animated sequences and drawn still images. That’s just what I can see from the preview though.

The film has been doing quite well in the independent film circuit, the site will give you the full rundown, trailer and the store even has some prints from the film. There is six prints total, all on 100% cotton, 300gsm paper. The main poster is open edition, while the others are limited to 50 or 150. I like how there is a few abstract looking prints along with the prints that feature scenes from the film.

Wow. Thanks for posting this! I was a John Bergin fan back in the 90s!! I own a copy of this rare graphic novel!! Read it about 10 years ago or more. I also collected his “Ashes” comic book which was also glorious. I can’t wait for this film! Never in my wildest dreams did I expect something like this. Also of note: Bergin had a band called Trust Obey which I only heard once: they did an awesome cover of a Ministry song called “revenge” (I think). It was on a Ministry tribute compilation.
Anyway, now I need to dig up the From Inside book (I have it “somewhere” here amongst my zillion books).
Thinking about one of the prints, but they’re pricey. I’ll have to inquire whether they are signed within the image or on the border. I prefer to buy original artwork. And don’t like the white borders that most paper prints have… but if signed inside the image, might buy one.
Keep up the great work, Creep Machine!! I’ve been a fan of the blog for over a year.
