“Game Over” sculpture by Kordian Lewandowski

Saw this floating around some of the art & design sites and had to share. Polish artist Kordian Lewandowski drawn inspiration from Michelangelo’s famous sculpture, La Pieta, and reinterpreted the piece with Mario and the Princess. Entitled “Game Over”, the sculpture was made out of polystyrene foam, first chiseled down with a chainsaw and then refined with more standard tools.
