Minjae Lee was one of the featured artists on the Creep Machine back in 2008. I just checked in to see what he has been up to, and was happy to see a new series of drawings in the works. “Panda Series 1” is the first in a series and looks amazing. The drawings that were originally shown during Minjae’s feature were colorful, and the application of the materials he uses was very energetic. I like that he still has the same blasts of color in this piece, but the overall drawing is tighter that previous drawings.
I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of this series will bring. For more of Minjae Lee’s work, make sure you stop by his homepage. Renokim.com
