Michael Shapcott has just released a new print available on Society6. “Reverie” (State of dreamy meditation or fanciful musing: lost in reverie. ) comes in three sizes and is printed on 100% cotton rag paper. The prints also have a 1″ border to help with faming.

Virtu Art Gallery has been working hard at releasing some amazing limited edition prints. In the past month alone new prints from Charlie Immer, Chris Buzelli, Trevor Brown, maritn Wittfooth, and this new one by Barcelona artist Sergio Mora. The print is entitled ” El Diablo Santo” and is 30″ x 31.5″ on canvas, signed and numbered in an edition of 30. Each print also comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Chet Zar has been working on some new studies for the past couple of days, gearing up for a new show by the looks of it. He added the 5″ x 7″ oil studies to his online shop and they are sure to move fast. All of the works come frame, although the frame might not be the same one in the photo.

Chris B Murray has just released a new print that was design to help with the Japan Disaster Relief. Artists everywhere are joining in with this effort, and creating some amazing works of art as well. This print is 13″ x 19″, signed and numbered in an edition of 50, with proceeds going to the Red Cross.

So along with brining fans amazing videos of their favorite artists, and artists they might not have known about yet, sketching away and showing how their working process is, Sketch Theatre is now releasing limited edition prints. The first print is by Cameron Davis and is 8.5″ x 11″ on velvet fine art paper, certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, and hand numbered in an edition of 25. Hopefully we see some more prints from these sketch videos, such as those from Michael Hussar, Chet Zar, Dan Harding, Gris Grimly, and on and on. So many great artists at that site.

Richard J Frost created 4 paintings for the recent “Everything But the Kitschen Sync” (featured, reviewed) group show that took place at La Luz de Jesus, based on the characters from “The Munsters”. The paintings looked amazing, and Frost just released these images as a limited edition print. The print features all 4 characters on one 13″ x 17″ print, signed and numbered in an edition of 49. I do wish each character was one a separate piece of paper, but its still a killer looking print.

Porterhouse Art is releasing a new special edition book by Marion Peck this Thursday, March 24th at 8am Pacific. The book is entitled “Animal Love Summer” and features 118 of Peck’s finest paintings from 1993 to 2010. The book is 128 pages, 11-3/4″ x 9-1/4″ signed and numbered, and comes with a signed and numbered 10″ x 8″ print. The book and print come in a clothbound clamshell box, and the set is limited to an edition of 250.
1xrun has just released a new print by Tohru Patrick Awa entitled “Anonymous Hug”. The image was designed in the past couple of weeks after the earthquake that his Japan. The print is 17″ x 12.5″, hand embellished, and limited to a max edition of 75. The best part, aside from being a smooth looking print, is that 100% of the proceeds will go to Give2Asia. Im very happy to see so many artists lately lending their talents to help out.
