1xrun just put up a new Flavorpill Friday print, this one is by UK artist Craww. “Somewhere” is 13″ x 19″ on archival cotton paper, signed and numbered in a max edition of 50. There less than 20 left as I write this, so I have a good feeling this edition will reach the max number. All prints also come with a certificate of authenticity.

Study No 2 – “Pele” by Michael Shapcott

Continuing his study series and revisiting some old works, Michael Shapcott has just released a new drawing, this one is based on his painting “Pele”. The drawing is 10″ x 12″, graphite on bristol. I love the fact that even with graphite he is able to achieve similar dripping, staining, and brush marks that the original painting had. I can’t wait to see what painting he will pick next for this series.
