Fine Grime Publishing out of Bath, Uk has a bunch of killer prints by Carles Gomila. There is about four prints fro Carles so far, with more to come soon. I really loves Carles’ work, and like the how many materials he uses to make each one of these. The original this print was based off of was made from charcoal, collage, acrylic & alkyd on linen canvas.

“Forward” MFA exhibition by Ahren Hertel

Ahren Hertel recently had his MFA Thesis show, entitled “Forward” at the University of Reno. I know he has been working on this show for quite some time, I am excited to finally see all that he has created for this show. The exhibition is now over, but I know that he will be concentrating on gallery shows from here on out. His new style is great and I can’t wait to see what he comes up with. Here is a gallery of all the works he had in the show, plus some shots of the gallery setup.

Eric Fortune Interview @ The Art Collectors

The folks over at “The Art Collectors” have just posted a new interview with the amazing Eric Fortune. He has quickly become one of my favorite artists. The interview gives a good idea of what inspires him, as well a look into his working process. This is one artist to watch out for, his show at Lebasse Projects is almost sold out. I imagine this will be common when it comes to paintings from Eric.

“Awaiting” print by Lori Earley

Lori Earley has just added a new print to her online shop. The print is from one of the drawings that was stolen at her last solo show “Fade To Gray”. The thief was caught but the drawings were never recovered. Sad that someone felt the need to steal these two works, but I am happy that fans will be able to enjoy one of them as a limited edition. It’s a very stunning image, I have been waiting for some time to see if Lori would release a print based on a drawing. The print is 11″ x 14″ giclee on paper, signed and numbered in an edition of 50. $150 (plus $25 shipping and handling within the U.S.)

New work from Ekundayo

Ekundayo has posted some new work to his flickr and I had to share it. I love the stylized figures that he creates and the colors, his paintings absolutely drip with amazing colors. I’m not sure what show this new painting is for, but I have to say this my favorite painting he has made so far. His website hasn’t been updated for a bit, but he has been updating his flickr account. So make sure you check that out to stay current with what he is doing.
